We had fun at Maths. Miss Hockly told us all to choose two things
from around the room (a pencil, hat, blocks, book etc). Once we had them all we needed to group them. Miss Hockly asked how we could do that, and
Ema said we should group them by the same colour. So we did - red, blue, brown, green, colourful and yellow.
Then we graphed how many objects we had of
each colour.
Next Miss Hockly asked if there was another way
we could group the items. We couldn’t
think of another way, so Miss Hockly suggested we group them in things that are
the same, so we looked to see what could go together. We decided to put the animals together, the
blocks, books, and then anything that didn’t belong to another group. Here’s our groups.
We graphed these results too and then
compared our graphs.
