Team One will be learning about the sun and the moon, and the role they have for the earth.  We'll also be learning about our solar system.  It's going to be a great term.

IMMERSION ASSEMBLY #1

Today we had our immersion assembly.  It was amazingly fantastic!  (well – perhaps not amazingly, cos we’re all just amazing all the time!).  Here is a photo, and a short video, of the awesome robot Mr J. made.

As well as the Senior Management Team getting creative, each teaching team created a video or stage presentation to introduce what their students would be doing in Term Two.  It was so much fun!

TERM TWO!

WOW – it’s term two already!

Everybody came back to school, ready to learn new things.

And…like every new term, we began with an Immersion Assembly where the teachers from each team show the school what their team will be learning during the term.

Team One are going to be learning about simple machines (levers, pulleys, screws, inclined planes, wedges and the wheel and axle), and how they make work easier.  Our teachers made a movie showing how they had to think up a solution to a problem.  We think they did a great job, and we hope you enjoy their movie.
