After this morning’s assembly, Room 17 were the first class to go
and visit Lynne and Harold, the giraffe, at the Life Education bus.
Lynne and Harold are teaching us about healthy eating. Today we learnt where a lot of our food comes
from, and how we should be eating a lot of green food (from the ground), some orange food
(from animals), but just a little bit of red food (treat food from the shop). We will be following this session up in
class, as we investigate our lunchboxes, write about healthy food, and find our
more information about the food we eat.
This is awesome! It's very important that our children learn about and develop good nutritional habits at a very young age. I'm grateful that this is taught at school as it supports what is being taught in our home
