Term 2 Kelly Sports

We are back at school, and today we had Sports.  We are learning to play Soccer.  Enjoy our short video highlighting Soane's amazing dribbling skills.  Enjoy. 

Certificates

Thursday is Certificate Day in Team One.  These fabulous children won a certificate at our Team Assembly in Week 1 and Week 2 of this new term.  All the Team One teachers are very proud of the tamariki in our classes.

Team Sport

While so many children are isolating at home, all the classes in Team One are joining together for learning and fun.  Today we had sport with coach Chelsea.  It was so much fun.  We played ball tag.  There was lots of squeals of fun and laughter as kids were being chased around.  After that we had a game of Dodgeball.  The teachers had to throw balls at the kids while they were running past.  Mrs Dwyer and Mrs Fester had so much fun.  Mrs Dwyer did some awesome throwing.  The children were awesome.  When they got hit, they were quick to take themselves to the side.  We loved their honesty.

Balancing

Today we had sport with Coach Trey.  We were learning about balancing, and we played some games and had a lot of fun.  We can't wait until we see him next week.

A New Year!

2022 has begun with lots of smiling, excited children coming to school each day for fun and for learning.

Today we chased bubbles around the field.  It was so much fun.

Last Day of 2021

What an amazing, wonderful day we had on the last day of 2021.  Only five children arrived in Room 17 today, but they had a fun-filled day. 

The biggest blessing they all had, was to receive a large gift from Mrs Harris (a friend of Mrs Shirley's).  Enjoy our short video of the occasion.

Self Portraits

Today, the children who were at school took home their self portraits.  One they painted at the beginning of the year, and the other one was painted this month (December).  I think they all did an awesome job!
