2022 has begun with lots of smiling, excited children coming to school each day for fun and for learning.
Today we chased bubbles around the field. It was so much fun.
We are a class of 14 five-year olds from Glen Innes in Auckland city. We hope you enjoy our blog as you find out what we love to do, and what we are learning.

What an amazing, wonderful day we had on the last day of 2021. Only five children arrived in Room 17 today, but they had a fun-filled day.
Today, the children who were at school took home their self portraits. One they painted at the beginning of the year, and the other one was painted this month (December). I think they all did an awesome job!
Mr Burt bought some Boomwhackers for Team One. We love playing with them, and started learning to play some songs. We hope you enjoy our movie that shows the beginning of our learning journey.
Here we are at the beginning of Term Four. Oh My Goodness! Where is the year going? And...we're back learning online! That wasn't in our plan, but we're good at 'Just rolling with it'.
I hope everyone enjoyed the two weeks of holiday, even though we couldn't go to the places we'd usually go to, or do the things we'd normally do during a holiday. I hope that you enjoyed simply being with your family, and having fun, relaxing times with them.
Did you watch the School's Immersion Assembly this morning? If you did, you would have seen all the Teams sharing what they would be learning this term. Here is the movie that Team One made to show a bit about what we are learning this term. Enjoy!
It's the last day of Term 3. Even though our term was a bit unexpected, we all just 'rolled with it'. Thank you to the wonderful tamariki that turned up to our Team and Class Meets, and to those who completed online learning and shared it with me. You are all superstars.
And...a huge thank you to the Mums, Dads, Nanas, Grandads, and older brothers and sisters who helped our lovely children to complete online tasks. Your input has been soooo appreciated.
Enjoy having a bit of a relax for the next two weeks, and, providing everything goes as planned, I will see you back in class on Monday 18th of October. Woo Hoo!!
