This is Motu.   Motu received her Duffy Certificate for always arriving at school with a smile and being ready to learn.  Great attitude, Motu!

Yesterday we were lucky to have a performance by three people from Duffy Books.  Three people performed a fun play about the benefits of reading.  We love reading Duffy Books.

This is Harvey.  He’s our first Duffy Certificate winner for the year.  He chose a book about sharks.  I’m sure he will learn some interesting facts about sharks.  Happy reading, Harvey.

There are 16 beautiful students in Room 17.  They are five years old, and are full of joy, excitement, and fun. We are looking forward to learning lots o new things during the year.

Yay!!!  Term three has begun!  We are all very happy and excited to be back at school with our friends.  We are looking forward to learning a lot of new things this term.

Like any new term, we began with an immersion assembly.  This term’s assembly was ‘out of this world’!  The theme for term 3 is ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, and Team 1 is going to be finding out all about the sun and the moon, and what they do for the earth.  It’s going to be exciting – and lots of fun!
