Maths Investigation

Yesterday we coloured some cupcakes.  Miss Hockly said we could colour the bottoms yellow, blue, green, or pink.  Then today we made a graph with the cupcakes.  We had more yellow-bottomed cupcakes than any other colour, and the green-bottomed cupcakes were the least number.

KIWISPORT

We began KiwiSport on Monday.  Our coach is called Coach Lucky, and he is very kind and helpful.  This week we learned about balancing, and we practiced balancing a few different ways – on our tummies, our backs, on one leg and two hands, and on two legs and one hand.  We also got to balance some little toys on various parts of our bodies.  We had a lot of fun, and we can’t wait until KiwiSport next Monday.

DUFFY ASSEMBLY and TEAM SPORTS

Today was a fun day.  After morning tea, we had a visit from three very talented people who did a play for us.  It was about an animal that was part cat, part dog, and part chicken.  It was called a Coggen, and it ran away from home and had to be found.  It was really funny, and we all enjoyed the show.  Thanks Duffy, for coming.

Then, to make an even great day better day, after lunch we had Team Sports outside.  It was really hot!  But we all had fun running, jumping, and kicking.  We love Team Sports.
